Arte Museum Jeju is running a series of tailored promotions, including a discount for pregnant visitors and their companions.
The promotions run from July 1 through Dec. 31, with the pregnant visitor and evening discount programs active throughout that period. A separate discount for Jeju Island residents and a social media event will run through Aug. 31.
Pregnant visitors who present supporting documentation — such as a maternal health record, pregnancy confirmation letter or pregnancy badge — receive a discounted admission for themselves and one companion. The adult ticket price drops from 18,000 won ($12) to 10,000 won. The discount applies only to tickets purchased at the venue, and visitors who arrive without documentation will not be eligible.
Arte Museum Jeju also offers an evening discount for visitors who enter between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. daily. During that window, the adult admission price falls from 18,000 won to 12,000 won.
During the peak summer season, Jeju Island residents can also receive a discount. From July 1 through Aug. 31, residents may bring up to three companions at the reduced rate, subject to verification of a valid ID or other proof of residency. The resident adult admission price is 12,000 won, down from the standard 18,000 won.
Alongside this, a "Live Sketchbook" social media event runs through Aug. 31. Visitors color a marine creature at an interactive station, scan it to see it come to life on a large screen, photograph the result, upload it to social media and verify the post on-site to receive a souvenir. After the event closes, participants will also be entered into a draw for prizes including gift vouchers.
Arte Museum Jeju presents a media art exhibition themed "Eternal Nature," combining light, sound and scent. The museum is open year-round from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with last entry at 7 p.m.
"We hope this pregnant visitor discount will help both customers traveling to Jeju for prenatal trips and local expectant mothers create special memories," a museum official said. "We will continue to offer distinctive promotions and events so that a wide range of customers can enjoy Arte Museum more comfortably."
