Bridgestone launches online store for truck and bus tires, debuts mobile rewards app

Bridgestone Tire Sales Korea has opened an official online store for truck and bus tires and launched a mobile app called Tire Select Road Cash, the company announced Wednesday.

The new online store lets commercial vehicle drivers search for and purchase products suited to their vehicles and driving conditions. Tires bought through the platform can be installed at nearby fitting centers across Bridgestone's nationwide network.

To mark the store's launch, Bridgestone is offering a range of customer benefits. New members receive a 10,000-won ($6) discount coupon upon signing up, with an additional 10,000-won coupon issued when they register a vehicle — and the two coupons can be combined. Customers who write a review after purchasing and installing tires are eligible for fuel gift vouchers worth up to 40,000 won, and those who complete genuine product registration receive a bonus puncture-repair coupon.

The Tire Select Road Cash app, released alongside the store, is a mileage rewards service that accumulates points based on distance driven. Users can earn up to 40,000 points, redeemable like cash on the app and at the official Bridgestone online store. The service is open to passenger car drivers as well as truck and bus drivers.

Song Kang-ho, head of Bridgestone Tire Korea's B2C business team, said the launch gives commercial vehicle customers an easier and more convenient way to browse product information and make purchases online. "We will continue to expand our digital services based on the online store and Road Cash app, and work to provide an even more convenient purchasing experience," he added.

Bridgestone specializes in supplying products and solutions for safe and sustainable mobility. Its Korean subsidiary, Bridgestone Tire Sales Korea, offers consumers a range of Bridgestone products and services tailored to domestic road conditions.

The company has also been broadening its ties with global partners, most recently being selected as the exclusive tire supplier for Lamborghini's latest model, the Fenomeno Roadster.
