UFC veteran Jung Da-woon set for domestic return at the event
The mixed martial arts event TFC 22, scheduled for July 11 at Goodprime Sports Mall in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province, will be officially renamed "KS TFC 22" after its title sponsor, KS Autoplan, a mobility company co-led by Kim Min-seok and Yun Ki-ung.
The TFC organization announced Wednesday that KS Autoplan had secured naming rights as the main sponsor, prompting the official title change.
The card features UFC light heavyweight veteran Jung Da-woon — who went 4-4-1 across nine UFC bouts — returning to domestic competition at heavyweight. Jung will face Mikael Grogu of France, a PFL alumnus, in the main event. The co-main event pits Lee Min-jae against Igor Kim of Russia.
KS Autoplan is a comprehensive mobility company offering long-term new-car rentals and leases, used-car purchases and sales, rental and lease transfers, special-purpose vehicles, and vehicle management consulting. Co-CEOs Kim and Yun said they chose to sponsor the event because they "highly value TFC's spirit of challenge and fair competition."
KS TFC 22 will be the first event held at TFC Dream Center, a dedicated MMA venue. "TFC has served as a springboard for promising fighters to reach bigger stages abroad," the co-CEOs said. "We sincerely hope KS Autoplan's sponsorship contributes to the growth of MMA in Korea."
The event begins at 4:30 p.m. with undercard bouts, followed by the main card after 6 p.m., for a total of seven bouts. It will be streamed live on the YouTube channel TFC Korea MMA.
