ATEEZ has again claimed the top spot on the US Billboard chart — for the third time.
According to a chart preview Billboard published Monday, the group's 14th mini album "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the publication's main album chart.
The achievement came amid stiff competition from major new releases by global pop stars including Olivia Rodrigo and Drake.
The Billboard 200 reflects a range of metrics compiled by Luminate, including album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).
According to Billboard, the new album logged 228,000 equivalent album units in its first week. Of that total, 223,000 came from pure album sales, which also placed the record at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart. SEA accounted for 5,000 units, while TEA contributed a negligible figure.
This marks ATEEZ's third No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The group first topped the chart in 2023 with "THE WORLD EP.FINAL : WILL," then again in 2024 with "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.2," before reaching the summit with the new release.
Among K-pop groups, only Stray Kids — with eight No. 1s — and BTS — with seven — have topped the Billboard 200 more times than ATEEZ.
The milestone cements ATEEZ's standing as a top-tier act in the North American market, with proven ticket-selling power and strong album sales.
The latest Top 10 entry also set a new Billboard record. Billboard said ATEEZ is the group with the most Top 10 entries on the chart over the past decade.
ATEEZ first broke into the Top 10 in 2022 with the EP "THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT," peaking at No. 3. The group has now logged nine Top 10 entries in the 2020s alone, the most of any act that decade. Stray Kids and Tomorrow X Together previously shared that record.
ATEEZ is also setting personal bests at home, surpassing 1.88 million copies sold in the first week of release according to the Hanteo Chart, making a simultaneous impact in both the domestic and global markets. The group is set to meet fans at a large-scale fan meeting from July 17 to 19.
