Jejuair said Sunday it selected outstanding employees under its Consumer-Centered Management program and shared their service cases across the company to promote a customer-first culture.

The airline held its "2026 First-Half Consumer-Centered Management (CCM) Employee Awards" ceremony last month at its Seoul office in Gangseo-gu, recognizing five employees for their contributions to customer satisfaction and service quality.

The ceremony was designed to identify and share exemplary service cases from customer-facing roles, strengthening employees' customer-handling skills and raising the company's overall service standards.

The five honorees for the first half of this year were Nguyen Ha Thao Nhi, a manager at the Da Nang branch, and four cabin crew members from the in-flight operations division: chief purser Kang Ju-hee, assistant purser Hwang Ji-un, and flight attendants Kim Da-hye and Park Jin-ho.

Nguyen was recognized for her handling of an unexpected incident in April, when a passenger's pet dog died on board an Incheon–Da Nang flight. She provided attentive support to the customer and helped expedite Vietnam's entry and quarantine procedures.

The four cabin crew members were selected based on commendations posted by customers on the Jejuair website. In March, when a flight bound for Gimhae International Airport was diverted to Incheon International Airport due to strong winds, the crew calmly guided passengers and responded to inquiries with care, minimizing inconvenience.

Jejuair has been selecting CCM outstanding employees through an internal review process since 2024, and this marks the sixth such ceremony. A total of 26 individuals and groups have been recognized to date. Eligible cases include customer commendations, efforts to address service gaps, safety measures and other contributions to improving the customer experience.

Jejuair obtained CCM certification in 2023 — a program certified by the Korea Fair Trade Commission and operated by the Korea Consumer Agency — and received a commendation from the KFTC chairman in the consumer-centered management category in 2024. In June, the airline won the top prize in the low-cost carrier category at the 2026 National Service Awards, in recognition of its digital service innovation and improvements to airport and in-flight services.

"As a CCM-certified company, our employees are putting customer-centered management into practice on the ground," a Jejuair official said. "We will continue to share cases that resonate with customers and work to strengthen our service capabilities and overall satisfaction."

Meanwhile, Jejuair has been carrying out a range of corporate social responsibility activities, including a plogging event for ocean cleanup at Nonjitmul Beach in Seogwipo, Jeju, held together with professional football club Jeju SK FC.
