Industrial safety company Black YAK I&C said it will participate in the 2026 Korea International Safety and Health Exhibition (KISS), running July 6–9 at KINTEX Hall 2 in Ilsan.
In the safety footwear category, the company will highlight the YAK-422D and YAK-522D, both designed for improved lightness and fit. Also on display is the Peltier Air Vest, aimed at workers in extreme summer heat — it combines Peltier cooling technology with a cooling fan to lower perceived body temperature and reduce fatigue in hot working environments.
The company will also unveil AI-based industrial safety technology. Developed in partnership with acoustic detection startup Rinsol, the SKYSHIELD is a smart wearable device that detects falls by workers at height and supports rescue response. The company will also present KARANG S, which uses precision sound sources — ultrasonic waves — to track workers' real-time locations.
Rounding out the lineup is SSP (Smart Safety Platform), a system that consolidates key on-site safety data in real time. It aggregates worker locations, safety equipment compliance, emergency alerts and other field data on a single screen, enabling immediate hazard detection and proactive response.
"This is an opportunity to present not just basic workwear that protects workers, but smart safety management solutions that integrate AI and digital technology," a company official said. "We will continue developing products and technology suited to the evolving industrial environment and contribute to creating safer workplaces."
