Gangnam-gu (district mayor Kim Hyeon-gi) will hold the "2026 Gangnam-gu Happy Jobs Fair" at Hall B2 on the first floor of Coex on Wednesday, July 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The fair will bring together 60 hiring companies — including the National Pension Service, Vitagen, Cesco, Woowa Brothers, Hecto Financial and Adecco Korea — along with eight affiliated organizations such as the Employment and Startup Hub Center. Job seekers can meet with company HR managers for on-site interviews and consultations, and access career lectures, tailored consulting sessions and interview preparation programs all in one place.
This year, the district has designed the fair as a recruitment venue spanning all generations, from youth to middle-aged and senior job seekers. Moving away from the traditional company-centered booth format, the fair divides its recruitment hall into three themed zones — Youth, Restart, and Startup & Entrepreneurship — with companies assigned according to each job seeker's career stage and employment situation to enable more precise matching.
The main stage will host a series of career lectures. At 10 a.m., fortune teller Park Seong-jun will speak on "What It Takes to Be Chosen." At 1:30 p.m., Lee Jun-hui — known on YouTube as "Interview King Lee-hyung" — will explain the competitive edge job seekers need as organizational adaptability becomes increasingly important in hiring. At 2:30 p.m., career consultant Kang Min-hyeok will analyze second-half 2026 recruitment trends.
Personalized job support programs have also been expanded. Job seekers can receive step-by-step guidance — from career planning to interview preparation — through AI interview training, AI career matching, one-on-one job strategy consulting and career narrative coaching. The programs are expected to offer practical help to those unsure how to organize and articulate their experiences and strengths.
Additional services at the venue will include resume photo shoots, interview makeup, hair styling and AI psychological counseling kiosks, allowing job seekers to complete all pre-interview preparations in one place.
Those wishing to attend should pre-register and bring a resume and cover letter to the venue. After the event, the district plans to operate a separate online recruitment channel to maintain connections between job seekers and companies.
