A promotion aimed at reducing accommodation costs in Daejeon — a city known for its "bread pilgrimage" bakery tours — is now underway.
Travel and leisure platform Yeogieottae is offering a 20,000-won ($13) accommodation discount coupon to customers who book hotels, pensions, campsites or home-and-villa stays in Daejeon through Tuesday. The coupon is valid for check-ins through the end of July. It can also be combined with a separate 15% discount coupon issued by Yeogieottae, allowing travelers to reduce their lodging costs further.
Daejeon city is also running a nighttime forest-walk program for families from this month through October, featuring sensory experiences along woodland trails after dark as well as lantern-making and a fountain show at Yunseul Street. A travel package called "Spotrip" — combining a Daejeon Stadium tour, a professional soccer home match and sightseeing around the city — is also available.
"Daejeon has plenty to offer the whole family, from its famous bread tours to nighttime forest experiences and sports trips," said Kang Hee-kyung, head of Yeogieottae's affiliate marketing strategy team. "We hope travelers take advantage of this promotion to enjoy a rewarding trip to Daejeon."
