KB Kookmin Bank announced Wednesday that it had revamped the retirement pension service on its KB Star Banking app on Tuesday.
The overhaul targets "faster access, easier investment and simpler transactions," with a focus on improving convenience across the entire retirement pension investment process. The bank redesigned the overall UI/UX — from the home screen through product browsing, transactions, account inquiries and authentication — to deliver a more intuitive experience.
The home screen has been reorganized to display recommended products and investment information at a glance, with frequently used menus repositioned so customers can reach the services they need more quickly.
Product search and transaction functions have also been enhanced. Customers can now more easily check trading status and execution details, and view transaction and redemption histories on a single integrated screen. The service also supports biometric authentication — including fingerprint and facial recognition — for fast and secure transactions.
Kookmin Bank had earlier introduced real-time market price lookup for exchange-traded funds within KB Star Banking in April, part of a broader effort to redesign its non-face-to-face retirement pension product trading service around customer needs.
"We will continue to provide convenient and differentiated retirement pension services through customer-centered digital innovation," a bank official said.
