Cars, Chanel bags and 1,000 stars: Inside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's lavish secret wedding

Details from pop star Taylor Swift's private, ultra-lavish wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce have emerged, drawing wide attention.

According to People magazine and NBC, among other outlets, Swift and Kelce's wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York on Friday drew roughly 1,000 guests. Hollywood's biggest names turned out in force, and the celebration featured live performances by celebrated musicians and a raffle with high-end prizes.

Swift walked down the aisle to her own song "Love Story," and sources said the couple each read personal vows for 20 minutes, pledging their love. Guests found custom-made handkerchiefs at their seats, embroidered with a heart logo formed from the letter "T" — the initials of both bride and groom — and the lyric "This is gonna be forever" from Swift's hit "Blank Space."

Actor Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, drawing laughs from the crowd with the lighthearted blessing: "Keep kissing each other." Sandler previously worked with Kelce on "Happy Gilmore 2."

The guest list read like a Hollywood awards show. About 1,000 celebrities attended, including actors Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Hugh Grant, Emma Stone, Tom Hanks and Bradley Cooper; singers Ed Sheeran, Sabrina Carpenter and Miranda Lambert; NFL stars Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes; and model Gigi Hadid.

"Everywhere you looked there was a star, and next to every celebrity was someone even more famous," one guest said of the atmosphere. Film director Joseph Kahn also recalled that "literally everyone was there," comparing the scene to the Met Gala, the world's premier fashion event.

The performances were equally dazzling. Legendary musician Paul McCartney performed the Beatles classic "I Want to Hold Your Hand," and rock icon Stevie Nicks also sang a congratulatory number, according to reports.

The post-ceremony party featured a raffle with extravagant prizes. A Chanel bag valued at $6,700 was among the giveaways, as was the Chevrolet Chevelle that Kelce drove on his first date with Swift in 2023.

Because the wedding was held privately, photos of Swift in her wedding dress have yet to be released. Foreign media reported that Swift wore a Dior wedding gown with Cartier jewelry and Christian Louboutin shoes.
