Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in welcome second child, a son

Actors Lee Seung-gi, 39, and Lee Da-in, 33, have become parents of two after welcoming a baby boy.

A representative for Lee Seung-gi confirmed Wednesday that the couple's second child, a son, was born Tuesday. Both mother and baby are in good health, and Lee was by his wife's side throughout the delivery.

Lee had earlier announced the pregnancy himself, telling viewers on the JTBC variety program "Hidden Singer 8" that a second child was on the way.

He also appeared on KBS's "Immortal Songs" on June 6, winning the first round of the "Composer Kim Do-hoon" episode. He noted that the birth was expected in July, saying, "If the champions' round falls in the same month, I might not be able to come. How could I leave my wife after she's just given birth?"

Lee and Lee Da-in married in April 2023 and welcomed their first child, a daughter, in February the following year. Lee Da-in is the daughter of actress Gyeon Mi-ri and the younger sister of Lee Yu-bi.

Meanwhile, Lee is preparing for his first solo concert in 13 years. He will hold "2026 Lee Seung-gi Concert — Giseungjeon: Nak (Rak)" at Blue Square's Woori WON Banking Hall in Seoul on Oct. 24 and 25.
