UFC middleweight No. 6 Anthony Hernandez (32, United States) and No. 9 Gregory Rodrigues (34, Brazil) are set to clash in the main event, while an intriguing light heavyweight bout between Roman Dolidze (37) and Reinier de Ridder (35, Netherlands) will also feature on the card.
UFC Fight Night: Hernandez vs. Rodrigues takes place Aug. 22 (local time) at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. Korean viewers can catch the undercard from 6 a.m. and the main card from 9 a.m. Korea time.
Hernandez (15-3) returns to the octagon looking to bounce back. One of the top middleweight contenders, the Mexican-American fighter climbed the divisional rankings with wins over Brendan Allen, Roman Kopylov and Michel Pereira. He now aims to make a strong statement against Rodrigues and put himself back on the path to a title shot.
Rodrigues (15-3) enters his second UFC main event looking to impress. Riding a three-fight winning streak, he has emerged as a formidable contender with dominant KO victories over Bruno Ferreira, Jack Hermansson and Brad Tavares. He is targeting a win over Hernandez to break into the middleweight top five.
Dolidze (15-5) looks to resume his winning ways with a strong performance. The well-rounded veteran has proven himself in the octagon with victories over Hermansson, Phil Hawes and Kyle Daukaus, and he aims to spoil de Ridder's night.
De Ridder (21-3) enters his second fight of 2026 looking to assert himself as a major force in the division. The Dutch fighter — a seasoned submission specialist with heavy knockout power — has turned heads with wins over Robert Whittaker, Bo Nickal and Kevin Holland. He has set his sights on Dolidze as his next target, seeking another impressive victory to move one step closer to a UFC title.
