Free drinks offered at 31 service centers nationwide
Campaign aims to boost safety, comfort for truck drivers
Volvo Trucks Korea announced Friday it will run a customer satisfaction campaign called "Cool Smile Summer" throughout July and August to support the health and safety of truck drivers during the summer months.
The campaign will be held across the company's 31 service centers nationwide. Any Volvo Trucks customer can visit a service center to receive a complimentary cold drink, regardless of whether they have a maintenance appointment or a vehicle scheduled for service. The drinks will carry message stickers expressing gratitude and encouragement for customers driving in the summer heat.
Special discounts on key summer maintenance items will also be available during the campaign. General customers can purchase air-conditioning compressors at 50 percent off, radiators at up to 45 percent off and condensers at 40 percent off. Customers with service contracts will receive an additional 20 percent discount on washer fluid and 10 percent off coolant.
Volvo Trucks Korea said the campaign is part of a broader push to strengthen customer-centered service that goes beyond maintenance to address rest and safety. The company said it is particularly focused on improving driving conditions for truck drivers, who face higher fatigue levels due to long hours on the road in summer.
Volvo Trucks Korea operates 31 service centers across the country, giving it the largest service infrastructure among imported commercial vehicle brands in Korea.
"Summer inevitably brings greater fatigue for truck drivers who must spend long hours behind the wheel," said Park Gang-seok, chief executive of Volvo Trucks Korea. "We designed this campaign to support comfortable driving through discounts on cooling and air-conditioning components."
Volvo Trucks Korea has also been expanding its customer touchpoints through a range of marketing activities, including its signature annual "Volvo Family Day" event, which invites customers and their families to participate together.
