Mountia launches 3 summer shoes for rainy season, vacation

Mountia announced Friday the launch of three summer shoes designed for the rainy season and vacation period.

The women's outdoor sandal Kelpie combines a floral print with an outdoor aesthetic. Its integrated toe-cap construction shields toes from impact during stream crossings or camping, and a cushioned footbed keeps feet comfortable on long walks.

The men's Nixie takes a sandal-sneaker hybrid approach — the toe cap and heel are enclosed while the sides open up with a strap structure. A string stopper on the instep lets wearers adjust the fit.

Cassie is a summer Mary Jane shoe accented by a softly shimmering pulsar e-band across the instep. It pairs a breathable knit upper with a cushioned midsole and synthetic rubber outsole, and comes in muted pink, dusty purple and black.

"In summer, when shoes are prone to getting wet, breathable footwear that stays comfortable through long wear is essential," a Mountia official said. "The summer shoes we have launched are functional products that can be worn comfortably across a variety of environments."
