Introductory meeting held; talks to focus on improving working conditions

Lotte Global Logistics announced Friday that it has launched collective bargaining with the National Parcel Delivery Workers' Union.
The two sides held an introductory meeting Friday at Lotte Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, agreeing on a schedule and procedures for the negotiations. Future sessions are expected to cover a range of issues aimed at improving the working environment and conditions for parcel delivery workers.
"Through these negotiations, we will work to build a mutually beneficial and cooperative relationship with parcel delivery service workers," a Lotte Global Logistics official said. "We will continue to do our best to provide services that customers can trust."
Meanwhile, Lotte Global Logistics is a comprehensive logistics and parcel delivery company with a network of more than 1,000 domestic and roughly 200 overseas logistics hubs. The company offers a full range of services spanning parcel delivery, land transport, third-party logistics, warehousing and supply chain management, port handling, maritime and air freight forwarding, and international express delivery.
