Yongsan-gu District Chief Kim Kyung-dae attended the inaugural "Yongsan-gu Job Dream Day" on Friday at the second below-ground-floor conference hall of the district office, meeting with job seekers and expressing gratitude to participating companies.
The event was organized to give residents seeking employment direct access to on-site hiring opportunities and tailored career information. Six companies — including Angel Staff, Balgheun Tears and Shinwoo Industrial Management — participated, with plans to hire about 50 people across positions such as equipment cleaning, janitorial work and data entry.
The event featured on-site interviews and recruitment consultations with each company, as well as career workshops — including a session on master craftspeople and a seminar on interview presentation — that drew an enthusiastic response from participants.
"Jobs are the most important livelihood issue directly tied to residents' daily lives," Kim said. "We will continue to expand tailored recruitment events that connect job seekers with companies, and actively support our residents in finding stable employment."
