Song Hye-kyo moves to new agency led by her longtime stylist's husband

Actor Song Hye-kyo, 45, is set to begin a new chapter at a new agency.

According to industry sources and Mydaily, Song Hye-kyo will join a new management company being established by Shin Jae-ho, the outgoing head of AAP — the agency that represents Go Youn-jung and Noh Yoon-seo, among others.

Shin first crossed paths with Song when she was working in China and has continued to handle China-related business since. He is also the husband of a stylist surnamed Kim who has worked with Song for more than 20 years.

Song parted ways with UAA in June after a 14-year partnership.

UAA said in a statement: "UAA and Song Hye-kyo, who have walked together in mutual trust for so long, have decided to conclude their journey and cheer each other on toward our respective futures. We ask fans to show Song Hye-kyo, who now stands at a new starting line, your warm attention, encouragement and love."

Song also expressed gratitude for the partnership as she prepares for her fresh start.

Posting a photo of roses on her personal account, she wrote: "I was truly happy and grateful for every moment spent with UAA. I will always hold every moment we shared together as a precious memory in my heart. I sincerely cheer on all the days ahead for UAA."

Song also directed a personal message of thanks to UAA chief Park Hyun-jung, writing: "Unni, thank you."

Meanwhile, Song is set to appear in the upcoming Netflix original series "Slowly, Intensely."
