The Yongin City Volunteer Center signed memorandums of understanding Monday with Medifield Han River Hospital and the Yongin branch of the Gyeonggi Province Automobile Specialty Repair Business Association at a ceremony held at Yongin City Hall.
Under the agreements, Medifield Han River Hospital and the Yongin branch of the Gyeonggi Province Automobile Specialty Repair Business Association will provide services for volunteers and work together to promote community contribution and spread a culture of giving.
The signing ceremony was attended by Yongin Special City Mayor Lee Sang-il, who also serves as chairman of the Yongin City Volunteer Center, along with Medifield Han River Hospital Director Kang Nam-gyu, Yongin branch chief Lee Gwang-min of the Gyeonggi Province Automobile Specialty Repair Business Association, and officials from each organization.
"I am grateful to Medifield Han River Hospital and the Yongin branch of the Gyeonggi Province Automobile Specialty Repair Business Association for supporting Yongin's volunteers and joining in the community's giving activities," Lee said. "I hope these efforts will spread and that many more people will take part in social contribution activities."
