Flyway Games action roguelike available as Xbox Game Pass Day One title
Drops events to run on Twitch and Chzzk through July 26
Flyway Games, a studio under Krafton, has globally launched its new action roguelike "Ascend to Zero."
Krafton said Tuesday that Ascend to Zero went live Monday at 3 p.m. The game is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Rogue Xbox Ally and Steam.
Ascend to Zero is also offered as an Xbox Game Pass Day One title, meaning Game Pass subscribers can play it without purchasing the game separately.
Ascend to Zero is an action roguelike in which players use time-stopping abilities to engage in combat. The mechanic lets users take on multiple enemies at once, while repeated playthroughs allow them to mix and match abilities and combat styles.
The game is priced at 13,000 won ($9) in South Korea. Krafton said it is also releasing a "Supporter Pack DLC" — which includes golden skins for six avatars — alongside an official soundtrack featuring the in-game music. A Deluxe Edition bundling the base game and all DLC at a discounted price is also available.
Flyway Games is also running a Drops event on Twitch and Chzzk to mark the launch. The event runs from 4 p.m. Tuesday through 4 p.m. July 26.
Viewers who watch Ascend to Zero streams during the event can earn in-game rewards based on cumulative watch time. Rewards are distributed at four tiers: 30 minutes, one hour, one hour and 30 minutes, and two hours.
The company is also offering limited rewards exclusive to the Drops event, including a mint-colored limited pet and a frying pan Device item. Steam users can obtain the rewards by watching streams, while Xbox users can earn them by reaching designated playtime milestones.
