Titleist announced Thursday it will launch the new Vokey Design SM11 Black Vapor wedge, featuring Flight Lines technology, on July 23.
The new product retains the proven performance of the Vokey Design SM11 wedge while adding Flight Lines technology to a premium black exterior finished with a titanium carbide vapor coating. The design delivers both a deep, intense black color and enhanced durability.
A PVD (physical vapor deposition) process strengthens the finish's durability, while an FPP coating helps resist dirt and fingerprints. Gold accents appear on the Vokey Design badge, BV Wings logo and bounce number, and the club comes equipped with a Dynamic Gold Onyx shaft and Golf Pride Vokey Z Cord gold grip, elevating the premium finish unique to the Black Vapor.
The newly introduced Flight Lines technology features three precision guide lines engraved on the hosel, making wedge setup easier and more intuitive from shot to shot.
Flight Lines was developed in collaboration with Parker McLachlin, a Titleist brand ambassador and world-renowned short game coach.
The limited-edition SM11 Black Vapor wedge will be available in the following stock options: 56.08 M, 56.10 S, 56.12 D, 56.14 F, 58.08 M, 58.10 S, 58.12 D, 60.08 M, 60.10 S and 60.12 D.
