SK Eco Plant opens model home for 1,857-unit Uiwang Station SK View complex

SK Eco Plant has opened the model home for Uiwang Station SK View, a large-scale residential complex to be built through the Bugok-ga zone housing redevelopment project in Uiwang, Gyeonggi Province, marking the start of its official pre-sale campaign. The complex will rise in a transit-oriented area near Uiwang Station on subway Line 1, comprising 1,857 units in total.

SK Eco Plant announced Thursday that it had opened the Uiwang Station SK View model home and launched the pre-sale schedule.

The complex will be built at 192-244 Samdong, Uiwang, Gyeonggi Province, rising from three below-ground floors to a maximum of 34 above-ground floors across 13 buildings and 1,857 units in total. Of these, 820 units are available for general pre-sale.

The general pre-sale units break down by exclusive use area as follows: 3 units at 36 square meters, 34 at 45 square meters, 481 at 59 square meters, and 302 at 84 square meters. Move-in is scheduled for December 2029.

The apartment subscription schedule begins with special supply on Monday, followed by first-priority applications for eligible local residents on Tuesday, first-priority applications for other regions on Wednesday, and second-priority applications on Thursday. Successful applicants will be announced July 29, with contracts running from Aug. 10 to Aug. 13.

The complex sits about a three-minute walk from Uiwang Station on Line 1, offering direct access without transfers to major Seoul business districts including Seoul Station, City Hall and Yongsan. Once the GTX-C line opens, travel to the Gangnam area is expected to take around 20 minutes.

Additional transport links are also planned, including the Indeokwon–Dongtan double-track railway and an extension of the Sinbundang Line. The complex also offers convenient access to the Yeongdong Expressway, the Gwacheon–Bongdam Expressway and the Seoul Metropolitan Ring Expressway.

The surrounding green environment is another draw. Wangsong Lake Park nearby is an ecological park spanning about 957,000 square meters, featuring walking trails, rest areas and a campsite centered on a lake and wetlands. Bugok Sports Park and Deokseongsan are also close by.

Within walking distance are several schools, including Uiwang Deokseong Elementary School, Uiwang Bugok Elementary School, Bugok Middle School and Uiwang High School. Residents will also have access to a range of shopping and cultural facilities, including Starfield Suwon, AK Plaza Suwon, Timevillas Suwon and Lotte Premium Outlets Uiwang.

Inside the complex, residents will have access to sports facilities — a fitness center, group exercise studio, Pilates studio and indoor golf practice range — as well as community amenities including guest rooms, a library, a study room and a residents' cafe.

"Uiwang Station SK View is a complex with a transit-oriented location, large-scale size and diverse community facilities," an SK Eco Plant pre-sale official said. "We will draw on our accumulated experience and construction capabilities to make this project a local landmark."

Meanwhile, Define Artia, which SK Eco Plant put up for pre-sale last month in Seoul's Noryangjin New Town, drew 1,638 applicants for 87 units in the first-priority subscription round — excluding special supply — for an average competition ratio of 18.8 to 1.
