Yoon Ga-i, dating singer 18 years her senior, shares sweet message at play

Actor Yoon Ga-i, who has drawn public attention for her relationship with singer Jang Kiha, offered a glimpse into her recent life on social media.

On Wednesday, Yoon posted a photo on her social media account confirming she had attended a performance of "The Merchant of Venice," writing, "The play 'The Merchant of Venice' was so fun!!!! Sincerely ×10000."

In the post, Yoon shared a photo of herself hugging actor Kim A-young, who plays Jessica in the production, and wrote, "'The Merchant of Venice' Jessica, I love you — love you, mwah."

Yoon and Kim previously appeared together on the Coupang Play comedy show SNL Korea 4.

Meanwhile, Yoon, born in 2000, is publicly dating Jang, born in 1982 — an 18-year age gap. The two met while appearing on SNL Korea in 2023 and grew close through shared interests in music and film before becoming a couple.

"The Merchant of Venice," which opened July 8, features a star-studded cast including Shin Gu, Park Geun-hyeong, Lee Seung-joo, Kai, Choi Soo-young, Won Jin-a, Lee Sang-yoon and Park Young-hoon. The production runs through Aug. 9 at the Haeoreum Grand Theater at the National Theater of Korea.
