Singer Bibi was visibly surprised after learning that broadcaster Jiyeun and choreographer Bata had gone public with their relationship.
A video titled "The Airplane Seat Next to You That Could Change Your Life (?)" was posted Wednesday on the YouTube channel "Okiki ㅇㅋㅋ."
In the video, Bibi sat down with Gabi and Jiyeun to discuss the theme of "over-immersion." The three then played an "over-immersion game" in which they picked who they would most want to sit next to on a long-haul flight.
The game board featured photos of Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, Girls' Generation member Yoona, singer Beyoncé, actor Byeon Woo-seok and dancer Bata, among others.
When Bibi spotted Bata's photo on the board, she squinted and said, "Why is Bata here?" In response, Gabi burst out laughing and said, "You didn't know? They're dating — it's public." She then revealed that Jiyeun and Bata were in a relationship.
Bibi looked stunned, glancing back and forth between Jiyeun and Gabi. "Really? You're public? How long have you been together?" she asked in rapid succession.
Caught off guard by the sudden mention of her love life, Jiyeun said, "Stop it, seriously," looking flustered. She drew laughs by adding, "I'd have to sit next to Bata — I'd have to sit next to my boyfriend."
Jiyeun and Bata officially acknowledged their relationship in April. Both born in 1994, the two met as friends at church before developing a romantic connection.
Bata is the leader of Widamboyz, the runner-up crew on the dance competition show "Street Man Fighter," and a choreographer behind hit songs including Zico's "New Thang" and Jennie's "Like JENNIE."
