IPark Hyundai Development opens model home for Chuncheon Riverview IPark

IPark Hyundai Development announced Thursday that it has opened a model home for Chuncheon Riverview IPark, a new residential complex to be built at 883 Janghak-ri, Dong-myeon, Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, and has begun pre-sales.

The complex will rise up to 27 above-ground floors over two below-ground levels across two buildings, comprising 262 units in total: 53 Type A and 26 Type B units in the 59-square-meter category, and 104 Type A and 79 Type B units in the 84-square-meter category.

The apartment subscription schedule opens Monday with special supply, followed by first-priority subscriptions on Tuesday and second-priority on Wednesday. Winners will be announced July 29, with formal contracts signed Aug. 10–12.

Chuncheon Riverview IPark sits within 4 kilometers of Chuncheon Station, offering convenient access to the Gyeongchun Line and ITX express rail. From Chuncheon Station, residents can reach Seoul's Cheongnyangni Station in about an hour. The surrounding area also features large supermarkets, the Chuncheon Regional Government Complex and other public offices, and a university hospital, providing strong medical and administrative infrastructure.

Seven schools — including Janghak Elementary School, Gangwon Middle and High School, and Chuncheon Girls' High School — are located within 2 kilometers of the complex. The proximity to the hagwon district in Hupyeong-dong is expected to draw strong interest from families who prioritize their children's education.

All units are oriented primarily toward the south to maximize natural light and ventilation, and each unit comes with a dedicated storage room on the second basement level. Community amenities will include a small library, a shuttle station with a piloti rest area for waiting before and after shuttle service, a senior lounge, a fitness center, a group exercise room and a golf practice range.

The development also incorporates smart-home IoT technology. Notable features include a shared entrance with facial recognition, in-complex CCTV designed under crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED) principles, and push-and-pull fingerprint digital door locks. Inside each unit, a wall pad and a bathroom emergency speakerphone will be installed.

Meanwhile, IPark Hyundai Development posted consolidated sales of 673.9 billion won ($453 million) and operating profit of 80.1 billion won in the first quarter of this year, with its operating profit margin returning to double digits on a quarterly basis for the first time in about five years.
