North Gyeongsang Technopark, Daegu procurement office sign MOU to boost local firms' public market access

North Gyeongsang Technopark and the Daegu Regional Office of the Public Procurement Service signed an MOU Monday to help local small and medium-sized enterprises enter and grow in the public procurement market.

The signing ceremony was held at a conference room on the third floor of the Daegu Regional Office of the Public Procurement Service. Three officials from North Gyeongsang Technopark attended, including President Ha In-seong, along with four officials from the procurement office, including Director Yun Gyeong-ja.

Under the agreement, the two institutions will strengthen cooperation across several areas: supporting North Gyeongsang Province-based SMEs in entering and expanding within the public procurement market, jointly operating information sessions and tailored consulting services on procurement systems, and helping local procurement companies with promotion and market expansion.

"Superior technology becomes competitive only when it is connected to the market," Yun said. "I hope this agreement serves as a solid link between local companies' technological capabilities and the public procurement market."

Ha said the organization would provide full support to open avenues for discovering new companies and pioneering new markets through close cooperation with the Daegu Regional Office of the Public Procurement Service.
