Lotte Himart offers up to W1.4m in Galaxy Z8 pre-order benefits

Lotte Himart is offering pre-order benefits of up to 1.4 million won ($945) on Samsung Electronics' new Galaxy Z8 series — comprising the Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra and Flip 8 — through Aug. 3.

All customers who pre-order either an unlocked or carrier-bound model will receive 10,000 L.Points. Purchases made with a partner credit card are eligible for benefits of up to 640,000 won, and customers trading in an old device through the "Used Phone Cash Rebate" service can receive up to 780,000 won.

Customers who also purchase the new "Mobile Care Service" can use their product with greater peace of mind for up to three years. The service expands on the existing mobile damage insurance in terms of coverage scope and duration, extending protection beyond physical damage to include loss, theft, battery replacement and financial fraud — all for up to three years.

"We hope customers will take advantage of the pre-order to get their hands on the new Galaxy as quickly as possible and with the best benefits available," said Lee Eon-seok, head of Lotte Himart's smart home appliance division.
