Jo Geon-hwi (Welcome Savings Bank) and Kim Ga-young (Hana Card), winners of the professional billiards season opener, have each received a one-year use right for the Polestar 4, a mid-size electric SUV.
Woori Financial Capital said it completed delivery of the Polestar 4 vehicles to Jo and Kim on Wednesday at its headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The two players won the PBA and LPBA divisions, respectively, of the Woori Financial Capital PBA-LPBA Championship, the opening tour event of the 2026-2027 season.
Woori Financial Capital had announced the one-year Polestar 4 use right as the prize for winning the season opener, held in May. In the LPBA final, Kim defeated Kim Min-a (NH NongHyup Card) 4-2 in sets to claim her 19th career title, while Jo beat Jo Jae-ho (NH NongHyup Card) 4-3 in sets for his third career PBA title.
The Polestar 4 is a mid-size electric SUV from Polestar, a Swedish premium electric vehicle brand, and is one of the brand's flagship models for its sleek design and driving performance.
"I'm so happy to receive such a great prize on top of the win," Jo said. "I'm grateful to Woori Financial Capital for this wonderful benefit. I plan to enjoy the car with my wife." Kim said it was her first time in an electric vehicle. "I love the design and the fuel efficiency," she said. "I'm planning to drive the Polestar 4 whenever I head to PBA tournaments."
