Kia reported second-quarter consolidated operating profit of 2.63 trillion won ($1.79 billion), down 4.9 percent from a year earlier, the company disclosed Friday.
Revenue for the same period rose 12.6 percent to 33.04 trillion won.
Net profit for the period came to 2.33 trillion won, up 2.6 percent, according to preliminary figures.
