Samsung Electronics disclosed Thursday that its consolidated operating profit for the second quarter reached 89.49 trillion won ($61 billion), a 1,813.83% increase from the same period a year earlier.
Revenue for the same period rose 130% to 171.5 trillion won.
Net profit for the period was preliminarily tallied at 71.62 trillion won, up 1,299.9% on-year.
