'Heart Signal 3' star Seo Min-jae shoots new profile photos after giving birth alone, hints at comeback

Seo Min-jae, known from Channel A's "Heart Signal 3" and now going by the name Seo Eun-woo, has shared an update after giving birth to a son on her own, posting new profile photos that have sparked speculation about a return to public activity.

On Sunday, Seo posted a video titled "Shooting at the Studio" to her YouTube channel.

She shared some of the profile photos with the caption, "It was time for a profile shoot, so I went and got it done." The post led observers to suggest she may be resuming her career, which had been in effect suspended amid personal controversies and her pregnancy.

In the video, Seo said, "I turned on the camera to try filming a vlog for the first time in a while. It feels really unfamiliar. I forgot how I used to do this."

Visiting a photo studio for the new shoot, she also touched on how busy life with a newborn has kept her. "I even got my makeup done, but I need to be somewhere — these days I can barely go anywhere," she said.

Seo gave birth to a son alone in December last year, drawing attention for her slim figure so soon after delivery.

Seo first gained public recognition after appearing on Channel A's "Heart Signal 3" in 2020 and went on to build a following as an influencer. She drew considerable attention at the time for her background as the first female mechanic hired through Hyundai Motor Company's open graduate recruitment program.

In 2022, she was indicted on charges of using drugs together with singer Nam Tae-hyun and was sentenced to 10 months in prison, suspended for two years.

She later changed her name to Seo Eun-woo, signaling a fresh start, but last year disclosed a premarital pregnancy and made a series of public revelations about the child's father. The matter ultimately escalated into a legal dispute that has continued since. She welcomed her son in December last year.
