S-Oil posted an operating profit of 965.01 billion won ($670 million) on a consolidated basis in the second quarter, swinging to a profit from a loss in the same period a year earlier, the company disclosed Monday.
Revenue for the same period came to 11.34 trillion won, a preliminary figure reflecting a 40.9 percent increase year on year.
Net profit for the period also turned positive, reaching 514.58 billion won.
