JC Chemical disclosed Thursday that its second-quarter operating profit rose 189% from a year earlier to 11.45 billion won ($8.04 million), according to a regulatory filing.
Revenue for the same period climbed 54.9% to 142.81 billion won.
Net profit for the period came to 8.76 billion won, up 317.9% on-year, according to preliminary figures.
