BGF Retail posted an operating profit of 84.9 billion won ($59.6 million) on a consolidated basis in the second quarter, up 22.3 percent from a year earlier, the company disclosed Thursday.
Revenue for the same period rose 6 percent to 2.43 trillion won.
Net profit for the period came to 56.8 billion won, a preliminary 7.6 percent increase from a year earlier.
