KT&G said Thursday its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 18.5 percent from a year earlier to 414.45 billion won ($291 million).
Revenue for the same period grew 9.9 percent to 1.7 trillion won.
Net profit for the period came to 362.09 billion won, a preliminary figure representing a 152.3 percent increase year-on-year.
