A woman was arrested after swinging a golf club at the glass entrance of YG Entertainment's new headquarters late Thursday.
According to police, officers from the Seoul Mapo Police Station arrested a woman in her 20s at the scene in front of the YG building in Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, at around 9 p.m. Thursday.
The woman is suspected of causing a disturbance by repeatedly striking the building's glass entrance doors with a golf club.
Video footage circulating on X, formerly Twitter, shows the woman clutching a golf club in her right hand and charging toward the building before striking the entrance doors multiple times.
She continued to raise the club and attempt further strikes before a nearby man stepped in and restrained her. Police arrived shortly after and took her into custody.
Police said they plan to investigate the exact circumstances and motive behind the incident.
