Homeplus began a soft reopening of 67 stores Friday after securing 200 billion won ($141 million) in debtor-in-possession financing. The chain will use the period through Aug. 12 to stabilize its supply chains, build out product selections and address any operational issues before the official reopening on Aug. 13.
