Kara's Han Seung-yeon receiving treatment for cervical disc condition after hand tremors spark health concerns

Han Seung-yeon, a member of the K-pop group Kara, is receiving treatment for a cervical disc condition after recently drawing public concern over visible hand tremors.

Her agency, Aer Entertainment, said Sunday that Han's cervical disc symptoms had worsened recently, causing the tremors.

Han is currently under medical care and recovering, with no other health issues reported beyond the cervical disc condition.

Concern for Han's health spread online after footage from her birthday fan meeting showed her visibly trembling in her upper body and fingertips — a marked change from her previous appearances that alarmed fans.

The renewed attention also prompted speculation about her health after some movements at past performances were revisited and described as appearing unnatural.

Han debuted with Kara in 2007 and rose to fame with hits including "Mister" and "Lupin."

She later expanded into acting, appearing in the drama series "Hello, My Twenties!" and "Chunhwa Yeonaedam," and this year starred in the web drama series "Young Master, Please Let the Girl Go!"
