Everland, operated by Samsung C&T's resort division, said Tuesday that more than 40 percent of Caribbean Bay visitors used the Two-Park event to also visit the theme park on the same day, combining a water park trip to beat the summer heat with a full theme park experience.
The Two-Park event allows Caribbean Bay guests to enter Everland free of charge at any time on the day of their visit, and runs through Aug. 30.
Both parks are currently running their signature summer programs: the Water Music Pool Party at Caribbean Bay and Bambam Summer Night at Everland.
The Water Music Pool Party at Caribbean Bay, which runs through Monday, features performances by acts including Ive and fromis_9. Bambam Summer Night, a water DJ party held at Everland's Carnival Square, continues through Sunday.
Everland has also expanded its after-dark wildlife programs. The park is running a firefly festival that lets visitors observe fireflies up close, as well as Summer Night Safari, which features big cats and other predators that become more active at night.
Over the Liberation Day holiday, Everland will extend its operating hours until 11 p.m. from Friday through Sunday, giving visitors more time to enjoy the park's nighttime offerings.
