Cristiano Ronaldo, 41, has married his longtime partner Georgina Rodriguez, 32, after a decade together.
According to ESPN, the Portuguese soccer star wed Rodriguez on Tuesday in Cascais, Portugal, with the couple's five children in attendance.
Ronaldo announced the marriage on social media, posting a photo of the two wearing wedding rings alongside a brief message linking their initials with a heart.
According to Portuguese outlet Portugal Resident, the post read "C ♥ G," and the ceremony was held privately, with only close family and friends present.
The wedding comes exactly one year after Rodriguez announced their engagement on Instagram on Aug. 12, 2025 (Korean Standard Time). At the time, she posted a photo of her hand resting on Ronaldo's, showing off a large oval diamond ring, with a caption in Spanish: "Yes, in this life and in all lives."
The couple's story began in 2016, when Ronaldo first met Rodriguez while she was working as a sales assistant at a luxury brand store in Madrid. They went public with their relationship the following year.
Together they are raising five children: twins Eva Maria and Mateo, 9; daughter Alana, 8; daughter Bella, 4; and Ronaldo's eldest son from a previous relationship, Ronaldo Jr., 16.
Ronaldo has played for some of Europe's most storied clubs, including Real Madrid, Manchester United and Juventus. He recently appeared at his sixth World Cup, tying Lionel Messi of Argentina for the most appearances by a male player in World Cup history.
