Im Eun-a won the KLPGA Champions Tour sixth event, which carried a purse of 70 million won ($49,500), defeating her co-leader in a playoff Thursday.
Im finished the two-round event at Ocean Beach Golf & Resort (par 72) in Yeongdeok, North Gyeongsang Province, at 8 under par with a total score of 136, forcing a playoff against Kim Bo-gyeong, who matched her score.
On the first playoff hole at the par-5 18th, Im put her second shot on the green and two-putted for birdie, while Kim could only manage par. Im took home the winner's prize of 10.5 million won.
Im has one victory on the KLPGA regular tour and three on the Japan Ladies Professional Golf Association tour, but stepped away from the game for a period after marriage and childbirth.
Competing on the Champions Tour since 2024, Im claimed her second title on the circuit in two years. "I had so many near-misses over the past two years and felt a lot of frustration, but today I finally quenched that thirst," she said.
