Lotus cuts prices on Eletre and Emeya by average W16m with 2027 model year launch

Lotus has cut prices on the 2027 model year versions of its all-electric SUV Eletre and grand tourer Emeya by an average of about 16 million won ($11,300) on a like-for-like basis, bundling popular options as standard equipment and simplifying the lineup to three trims. Customers can expect delivery within about two months of placing an order.

Lotus Cars Korea announced Friday that both the 2027 Eletre and Emeya have completed domestic certification and are now open for pre-order.

The new lineup is organized into three trims — 600, 600 SE and 900. Despite pressure from raw material costs and exchange rates, the company bundled the options Korean customers most frequently selected as standard equipment, bringing the average price down by about 16 million won compared with equivalently configured 2026 models.

The base 600 starts at 169.8 million won. It comes standard with 21- and 22-inch wheels, six-piston brake calipers and soft-closing doors, and is priced 14.8 million won below the equivalent 2026 configuration.

The core 600 SE is priced at 187.8 million won. It includes dynamic handling, a premium audio system from British brand KEF and comfort seats as standard. On a like-for-like basis it is 21.7 million won cheaper than the outgoing model — the largest price reduction among the three trims.

The top-of-the-range 900 is priced at 229.7 million won. It comes standard with rear-wheel steering, an anti-roll bar and a full suite of driving and convenience features, and is 11.7 million won less than the equivalent previous model year configuration.

Lotus Cars Korea is also shortening domestic delivery times. The company said it has secured priority allocation of Korean inventory from its parent and plans to deliver vehicles within about two months of order — a move aimed at reducing the long waits that can accompany high-end imported electric vehicle purchases.

Performance carries over from the existing high-performance electric vehicle lineup. The top Eletre produces a maximum output of 918 PS and accelerates from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 2.95 seconds. Its drag coefficient is as low as 0.26, and it generates up to 120 kilograms of downforce.

The Emeya also produces 918 PS and reaches 100 kph in 2.78 seconds. Its drag coefficient is 0.21 and maximum downforce is 215 kilograms. Both models support ultra-fast charging at up to 350 kilowatts.

Certified range on a single charge runs from 374 to 518 kilometers depending on trim. The interior features Italian Alcantara materials, and an audio system using KEF's Uni-Q and Uni-Core technology is also available.

"The 2027 Eletre and Emeya incorporate the options customers prefer most as standard, while reflecting Lotus's performance character and product lineup," a Lotus Cars Korea official said. "We expect the price adjustments and product configuration to broaden customer choice in the domestic premium all-electric vehicle market."
