Soyu, a singer and former member of the girl group Sistar, has opened up about learning only after a breakup that her ex-boyfriend had been unfaithful.
On Monday, Soyu played a relationship-themed balance game on her YouTube channel "Soyugi," in which she was asked to choose between a partner who confesses to cheating and one who hides it to the end. She chose the latter.
"I always say, 'Go ahead and cheat — just get caught,'" she said. "The moment you get caught, you're out."
She then revealed a personal experience. "There was one time like that. I had a bit of a gut feeling, but I only found out after we broke up. We split for a different reason, and it turned out he had cheated a lot."
"He wasn't a good person," Soyu added. "In my prime years — what was I thinking meeting someone like that? What a waste of time."
She also shared her broader outlook on relationships, saying she dislikes playing games or keeping the other person guessing and prefers to express herself honestly.
