Lotto draw No. 1238 produces 23 first-prize winners, each taking home W1.2b

Twenty-three people won the top prize in the 1,238th Lotto drawing, each set to receive about 1.2 billion won ($861,000).

Dong Haeng Lottery, the operator of the Lotto, said the winning numbers for draw No. 1238, held Saturday, were 2, 13, 18, 32, 38 and 42. The bonus number for the second prize was 22.

The 23 first-prize winners, who matched all six numbers, will each receive 1,197,260,000 won.

Eighty-four second-prize winners matched five numbers plus the bonus number, earning 54.64 million won each. The 3,235 third-prize winners, who matched five numbers, will each receive 1.42 million won.

A total of 156,141 fourth-prize winners matched four numbers and will each receive the fixed prize of 50,000 won. The fifth prize, for matching three numbers, went to 2,549,183 people, each receiving 5,000 won.
