Continental Tire named preferred partner of Mercedes-Benz Korea again

Continental Tire announced Tuesday that it has been reselected as a "Preferred Partner" in the Mercedes-Benz Global Aftersales Tire Program.

Mercedes-Benz's Preferred Partner program evaluates key aftersales suppliers across multiple criteria — including quality, service and business performance — to identify the best partners in each market.

Continental Tire has held partner status in the aftersales tire category since its initial selection in 2024, maintaining the designation through this month. The latest reselection extends the partnership through August 2027.

In addition, Continental Tire is reinforcing its presence across the Asia-Pacific region by continuing the partnership in South Korea, Japan, Australia and India.

The company is focused on generating synergies with Mercedes-Benz through products with strong safety credentials and a structured aftersales service system. It supplies Mercedes Original (MO) product lines optimized for individual vehicle models — from the A-Class to the GLS — in line with Mercedes-Benz's stringent requirements and standards.

The supplied product lineup includes the SportContact 7, SportContact 6, EcoContact 6, EcoContact 6Q and PremiumContact 6.

Meanwhile, Continental Tire is steadily expanding its partnerships with leading global automakers, including securing exclusive supply of its 18-inch EcoContact 7 as the original equipment tire for Renault's new all-electric compact car, the Twingo.
