Funeral rites for Venerable Myeongjin, former abbot of Bongeunsa temple, are being held Tuesday morning at the temple in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Myeongjin passed away Saturday in Seogwipo, Jeju. A cremation ceremony is scheduled for that afternoon at Beopjusa temple in Boeun, North Chungcheong Province.
