Yellow Balloon Tour launches honeymoon package covering Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora

A tailored travel package that lets couples explore the main islands of Tahiti in one trip — without the hassle of booking each leg separately — has been launched.

Yellow Balloon Tour is offering a honeymoon package covering Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora in French Polynesia, with guests able to choose their resort according to preference. The package links three islands with distinct characters into a single itinerary designed to let couples build the honeymoon they want.

On Tahiti, travelers can experience local culture through visits to markets and the island's volcanic black-sand beaches. Moorea, reached by ferry or short flight, offers a lagoon and mountain backdrop for snorkeling, dolphin tours and other water activities. Bora Bora centers on Mount Otemanu, where guests stay in overwater bungalows and enjoy resort amenities.

Flights are routed via a Korean Air connection on the Incheon–Narita leg, linking to an Air Tahiti Nui service from Narita to Tahiti. All inter-island transport after arrival — domestic flights, ferries and dedicated vehicles — is included, removing the burden of individual bookings. Travelers can choose between an 8-day and a 10-day itinerary.

The standard schedule is built around two nights on Moorea, three nights on Bora Bora and one night on Tahiti. Accommodations are the Sofitel Moorea on Moorea and Le Tahiti on Tahiti, while guests on Bora Bora can choose from Le Bora Bora, the St. Regis or the Westin based on budget and preference.

All itineraries include round-trip airfare, inter-island transport, daily breakfast throughout, and overseas travel insurance covering up to 100 million won ($72,400). Guests staying at Le Bora Bora receive a welcome champagne, and couples who submit a wedding invitation or other proof of marriage at the time of booking receive department store gift vouchers totaling 200,000 won.

The dry season from May through October is considered the best time to visit Tahiti, with July bringing the traditional Heiva festival. The rainy season from November through April offers a quieter, less crowded experience.

"A honeymoon is a once-in-a-lifetime trip, so what matters most is not simply visiting famous destinations but how richly you can fill the journey with experiences that are meaningful to both of you," a Yellow Balloon Tour official said.
