Modicar wins consumer satisfaction award for 3rd consecutive year

Modicar, a new-car quote comparison platform, has won the new-car purchase application category at the 2026 Korea Consumer Satisfaction Award for the third consecutive year.

Modicar, a subsidiary of AutoHands, said Wednesday it was recognized for letting users compare in one place all the information needed during the vehicle purchase process, including real-time new-car quote comparisons and direct contracts with financial institutions.

The Korea Consumer Satisfaction Award selects winning brands through a comprehensive evaluation of customer satisfaction, service and quality, drawing on industry market trends and assessed through consumer surveys and expert review.

Modicar lets users compare vehicle prices, estimated monthly payments, discount benefits, delivery conditions and contract types without visiting multiple dealerships in person. The platform also offers direct contracts with financial institutions, discounted vehicles and products tailored to customers with no credit check requirements or low credit scores.

This month, the company fully revamped its website and mobile application. The main screen now lets users immediately select areas of interest — including electric vehicles, SUVs, imports and discounted vehicles — and view estimated monthly payments alongside discount and delivery information on a single screen.

The vehicle browsing process has also been simplified so that users who have not yet decided on a specific model can explore candidate vehicles based on budget, intended use or credit conditions.

"Winning for three consecutive years is deeply meaningful because it reflects that Modicar's service has consistently earned customers' trust and choice," said Seo Young-seok, chief executive of Modicar. "We will continue to improve our service so that customers can purchase new cars more easily and at better value."

Meanwhile, parent company AutoHands is also pursuing service expansion in the used-car segment. On Monday, it strengthened vehicle care services for its directly operated and certified used-car platform Auto Inside by introducing a Cesco-exclusive air freshener for vehicles that have completed Cesco CarCare treatment.
