Nongshim buys 490 tons of fresh Wando kelp for Neoguri, marking 45 years of partnership

Nongshim announced Wednesday it has purchased 490 tons of fresh kelp from Wando for use in producing its Neoguri instant noodles.

The company has maintained ties with Wando fishermen for 45 years since Neoguri's launch in 1982, with cumulative purchases reaching 18,500 tons.

"We will continue to grow alongside the Wando community as a committed partner," a Nongshim official said.
