Aug. 26–Sept. 8; 240,000 won per person, with 20% self-pay
Dongducheon is accepting additional applications for its 2026 organic produce support program for pregnant women from Wednesday through Sept. 8, aimed at promoting healthy food consumption by supplying organic produce to expectant mothers.
The additional recruitment quota is 106 people, and applications may close early depending on demand. Eligible applicants must reside in Dongducheon as of the application date and be either currently pregnant or have given birth on or after Jan. 1, 2025. However, those already receiving support through the Nutrition Plus program or the agricultural food voucher program for pregnant households are excluded.
Selected participants may order 240,000 won ($174) worth of organic produce per person — including a 20% self-pay contribution — directly through an online integrated shopping mall, with orders packaged and delivered by the supplier.
Eligible pregnant women may apply online through the Eco-E Mall platform or visit the Agriculture and Livestock Division at Dongducheon City Hall in person. In-person applicants must bring a valid ID along with documents verifying pregnancy or childbirth — such as a birth certificate or maternal health record — as well as a copy of their resident registration.
Oh Jeong-myeong, head of the Agriculture and Livestock Division, said the program is expected to provide safe and nutritious food to pregnant women while also expanding a stable consumer base for organic produce. He urged eligible residents to apply.
