Pre-sale applications were first accepted in October 2021
Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced Wednesday it will open a public recruitment notice for 463 units at the Uijeongbu Ujeong public housing district A-2 block.
The A-2 block held pre-sale applications in October 2021. All 463 units are offered in a single floor plan — an exclusive use area of 59 square meters, a size that tends to draw strong demand from end-users. Two subtypes, 59A and 59B, are available.
Of the 463 units, 185 are open for special and general subscription after setting aside 278 units for pre-sale lottery winners.
The average pre-sale price is approximately 403 million won ($291,000) per 59-square-meter unit. A three-year resale restriction applies, but there is no owner-occupancy requirement.
The complex is expected to benefit from continued expansion of the greater Seoul transportation network. Nokyang Station on subway Line 1 sits about 1 kilometer away, providing convenient access to central Seoul and other key areas of the metropolitan region. Nearby Uijeongbu Station is also slated to receive the GTX-C line, which upon opening would cut travel time to Samsung Station to roughly 20 minutes, positioning the area as a major transit hub for the northeastern metropolitan corridor.
The complex also offers easy access to the Seoul Metropolitan Expressway Ring Road and National Route 39, making it straightforward to drive to neighboring cities including Yangju, Goyang and Namyangju as well as Uijeongbu itself.
Beodeulgae Elementary School and Nokyang Middle School sit directly adjacent to the complex, allowing children to walk to school safely. Hongboksan and Cheonbosan mountains are also nearby, offering scenic natural surroundings year-round.
Uijeongbu General Stadium is within walking distance, giving residents easy access to sports and cultural facilities. The complex borders the existing Nokyang housing development zone, meaning residents will have a full range of everyday amenities available from the moment they move in.
Subscription applications will open first for pre-sale lottery winners Sept. 7-8, followed by special supply Sept. 14-15 and general supply Sept. 16-17. Winners will be announced in October, with contracts to be signed in December. Move-in is scheduled for May 2029.
